Capt. C.L. Youngblood Residence
Capt. Charles L. Youngblood (1867-1927), Georgia native, was a railroad clerk and later a conductor. On October 17, 1894, he married Martha Daisy Turner in Monroe. Daisy Turner was the daughter of Leslie A. Turner and Martha Margaret Houston, daughter of Hugh M. Houston. Charles, Daisy and two young children are noted on the 1900 Monroe Census. By 1910 the Youngblood family was noted in Militia District 1231, Ware, Georgia. Charles Lee Brown Youngblood was the son of Richard Franklin Brown. His mother died about six months after his birth. In 1880, 12-year-old Charlie Brown is noted in the home of his uncle J.T. Youngblood Jr. in Sandersville, Georgia. The location of the Monroe home is unknown; it was evidently demolished.
